I was really impressed with the Medal of Freedom and what you've put together. I thought it was great and was packaged really nicely.
I purchased the USS Arizona Medal of Freedom for my grandson but couldn’t stop from opening it. Everything in the gift box was really well put together and really interesting. The books I liked, and the Medal of Freedom I loved.
Thank you for putting that together the way you did. It was really respectful and was really well done. Your foundation did a really great job.

I actually ordered the Medal of Freedom as a late Father's Day gift for my father. When it arrived, I could hardly wait to take it over and give it to him. He had no idea what was in the box and kept on trying to guess what it was. When he opened it, he actually cried looking and touching the Medal of Freedom. My dad cried his eyes out, he loved it so much.
I was anticipating it for a long time, and I was beyond pumped to give it to him. What I received was so much more than I expected, and I thought that was the coolest thing in the world.
Just the goal of what Lauren Bruner’s foundation is doing–keeping the memory alive–is so cool. What we received was above and beyond. Thank you.

I'm a 58-year-old patriotic American and have always been a huge World War II military history person. I've been to the USS Arizona Memorial seven times over the years, and twice during the ceremonies on December 7th... and I will tell you this. Every year when they play Taps, I tear up and think about the 1,177 men that I stood above at the USS Arizona, and that's what my heart goes out to in the tear in my eye. It's about all veterans and everyone that has ever served this country.
I will be honest with you, even as old as I am, I had tears in my eyes when I received your package and the Medal of Freedom yesterday. When I got home from work, and I opened it up, and actually sat down and read what Lauren wrote on the inside of the medal case, I was totally choked up because this medal means so much to me.

My plan in purchasing the Medal of Freedom was not for me personally but for my daughter who serves the Navy aboard USS Pearl Harbor. She is Active Duty and making the Navy her career.
I thought the gift box presentation was fantastic and really well done. USS Arizona and the Medal of Freedom are a piece of history that we just cannot forget and I would like to see more active participation in supporting things like your foundation is doing.

Everything about receiving the Medal of Freedom was excellent. It was packaged so well it was actually hard to get into!
The Medal of Freedom is beautiful. The cards, the books and everything included is just wonderful.
Yesterday, as a matter of fact, my son was over here. He's 27 and he knows the whole time he was growing up that I've always been into American History and that of WWII, and when I showed him the medal and I told him that the shiny A on the medal was from USS Arizona... I swear that when he was running his thumb across it I could see his hand shaking. Trying to keep history alive may be the most important thing for future generations.
I've been telling my buddies about the Medal of Freedom, and although I haven’t taken it to work yet, I want to. But I’m scared to death to let anyone else hold it!

I think the Medal of Freedom is probably the best thing I’ve ever bought in my life. I mean, it’s awesome. The quality of the medal and all the other gifts was a very impressive surprise. I’ve shown the medal to many of my friends, and they all think that it’s really cool.
I'm very happy that I ordered it and would recommend it to anyone who loves America and wants to have a true piece of history to pass down to their family. I was very pleased. It's beautiful.

The Medal of Freedom is a prized possession. I must say, it's really cool.
It’s surreal. I've been to the Arizona Memorial twice so the medal takes me back to the times that I’ve visited and brings back what happened so many years ago and what the survivors and those killed in action endured, all in the name of freedom. Just touching the Medal of Freedom gives me chills.
The book Second to the Last to Leave that came with my donation is phenomenal and is the best book I have ever read on Pearl Harbor.
